#3657: "Command prompt - Log files" produces empty log files

I tried to switch it on and off, save/Select the file multiple time, but
it always create a 0 bytes text file, no matter which command I Select
from the menu.
GRASS 7.4.1 on OSGeo Live 11.0 running on VirtualBox.
