Seems like pre-releases, while now we do have DOIs for RCs, there is no need in general to have DOI for a version meant for testing only. Back then, the 0.1 and 0.3 might have been around for a long time (I don't know), but from today's perspective, that's all forgotten. 6.0 is a long time ago (no date on our Trac website [1] and a broken link).
