Hello Markus I had already reinstalled gdal, but that didn't help. I solved the problem as follows:
libgdal.so.1 was in /usr/local/lib/ I had to add the directory in /etc/ld.so.conf and rerun "ldconfig". Now Grass works again. Thanks for your help.
