Hi!! I have set the Enviroment Variable by eval 'g.gisenv' when i make echo $LOCATION_NAME it gives Map1 echo $MAPSET GIVES kunal echo $GISDBASE =/usr/local/grassdata i have following queries
1. i have copied the r.example dir into the /usr/local/grass-6.2.3/raster/ and add the r.example in the Make file present in this directory...when i make the directory it still giving the message ERROR: MAPSET PERMANENT - permission denied why is it so when i am using kunal as a mapset. 2. i want to see the output of r.example which i added .. i will run make install after make..my grass is also running ..where to go to check the output. Please suggest the way to handle the two problems.
