not finding any problem while displaying other vector or raster maps. I
am using grass 6.3 on ubuntu 8.04 and also on windows. The problem is
same in both the operating systems. I prepared another contour map, but
that too is giving a similar message
Somehow your file got messed up (did you do any digitizing on it ?). Try
running v.build.
