Hello, The EPSG for your data (coordinates y in the range 600000 and x in the 200000) is EPSG:21781 http://www.spatialreference.org/ref/epsg/21781/ This is the old legal system, still widely used
The other system used in Switzerland is (new, but hardly used) is CH1903+ / LV95 http://www.spatialreference.org/ref/epsg/2056/ Same coordinates x,y + 2'000'000 and 1'000'000 respectively (to make simple) Marc ----Message d'origine---- De: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: 13.11.2008 22:36 À: <[email protected]> Objet: [GRASS-user] Import CH1903 Referenced Geodata Hi Adrian, if you open a e00-file from the same web-site in an texteditor, you can find the following projection info: Projection OBLIQUE ~ Units meters ~ Spheroid BESSEL ~ Datum user_defined 674. 14. 405. ~ Parameters ~ 2 /* Projection type < 1 | 2 > ~ 1 /* Scale factor at the projection's center ~ 7 26 22.5 /* Longitude of the projection's center (DMS) ~ 46 57 08.66 /* Latitude of the projection's center (DMS) ~ 90.000000 /* Azimuth at the projection's center ~ -9419820.5907 /* False easting (meters) ~ 200000.0000 /* False northing (meters) Hope this helps to find and define the right projection to import the shapefile.
