Attached I tried to comment my data and situation. v.proj doesn't work right in my case and loses every information of my map in the new location. Thanks, Stef PS: I hope I chose the right projection properties for the (source) location "ggcoord" for importing the original ascii-file concerning the given coordinates of HYD
