They are better documented in the GRASS manual pages which are here: http://grass.osgeo.org/grass64/manuals/html64_user/r.sim.sediment.html http://grass.osgeo.org/grass64/manuals/html64_user/r.sim.water.html Additionally, in the GRASS book (3rd ed., pp. 163-166) there is in the section "5.5 Landscape process modeling" a paragraph on "Process-based water flow and erosion modeling" discussing the use with examples.
