Hi My problem with wxpython vdigit crashing was solved by deleting the symbolic link to: /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/wx-2.8-gtk2-unicode/wx/_gdi_.so
This symbolic link was created during the early days of vdigit when it was listed as a requirement. I have noticed another user [1] apparently caught by the same gotcha.
