If you can't find the appropriate EPSG code, you can always create a custom projection using the proj 4 definitions.

I think it might look something like this:

+proj=lcc +ellps=clrk66 datum=nad27 +towgs84=7,-96,23,33,45,0,0

You can also reproject it using ogr2ogr as well if you didn't want to use this projection.

Hey !
I have problem with a dbf file in old projection (old mapinfo projection) to
convert into a grass file .. I'm searching an equivalent of this projection
in EPSG code or with an other name ...

The description in mapinfo.prj is :

Conformal Projection (United States)", 3, 62, 7, -96, 23, 33, 45, 0, 0

OR

"Lambert Conformal Conic (Continental US)",3,62,7,-96,23,33,45,0,0

I don't have any other information :-/

I have this : http://spatialreference.org/ref/esri/102004/ but i think it's
not ok ..

If you have any information to help me about that, that's great !
Thanks a lot !
