Thanks for the quick answers!
It is possible then to do 3d visualization using the TclTk GUI?

Here is part of the answer...
"A new version of the native WinGrass installer (not OSGeo4W or Cygwin)
has been posted on the GRASS download page.
This release is based on GRASS-6.4.0RC5 (and comes with shiny new
icons) but the wxpython GUI still does not include vector digitizing
(wxvdigit) or 3d visualization (wxnviz)."

Subject: [GRASS-user] Nviz in Windows XP
Dear list,
I´m trying to display a raster image in 3D using the Python GUI in
Windows XP. When I choose the "3D view" popup I get this message:
Error
Unable to switch to 3D display mode.
The Nviz python extension was not found or loaded properly.
Switching back to 2D display mode.
Details: No module named *grass6_wxnviz*.
Any ideas on how to fix this? It is possible to run the Nviz library
from the python GUI?
Thanks,
Julian
