The only culprit I could find so far is the number of vector or dbf files in the Location. If the number is greater than 188 then the wxPython GUI goes into an infinite loop. Reduce it to 188 and it works as it should. It does not matter which ones are the 188 files, as long as there are no more than 188. I am reluctant to suggest this is the cause of the problem, but it certainly looks that way so far. Any more plausible suggestions anybody?
