try:    v.buffer type=area input=polygone593 output=buffer_593 distance=10
 
there are also the -s option for straight corners.

I have tryed it here, look at the images...

v.buffer input=polygone593 output=buffer_593 distance=10

My buffer is uniform but this function is ok with a polyline...
