I found a mention of an analysis used to objectivly determine stream extraction thresholds called constant drop analysis (http://www.neng.usu.edu/cee/faculty/dtarb/tarpres.html (ppt presentation with Charles Hawkins)). Is this implemented in GRASS, and are there any reading materials that anyone could suggest that I could read on this topic? thanks for all of your help,
