Hi Moritz Lennert,

should i have to install python 2 or 3, i think during grass
installation python files are already installed?

That depends on how you install GRASS. If you use the MS Windows standalone installer, yes.

        Hi Moritz Lennert,

How to execute script and where to type as i am new to python.

The best is to start reading the beginner's tutorial of python on
python.org <http://python.org> and the examples on the GRASS-Wiki page.

The easiest to try out python is to go to the GRASS command line and
to launch Python there. You can then try out python code in
real-time before putting it all into a text file and launching it as
    a script.

        I have installed grass6.4.

        Thanks in advance,
        nani.

                Hi All,

I am having algorithm or psuedo code(consists of
        initialisation of
parameters, conditions, comparing, etc.. ) of a program.
how to execute these set of statements in Grass. Give me
        an example

Writing a script in Python is probably your best bet. Start
        here:
