-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi
There is an interesting letter by Duccio Rocchini and Markus Neteler in "Trends in Ecology and Evolution" on use of open software in science and research which also mentions GRASS: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0169534712000742 Unfortunately it is behind a paywall. Markus - would it be possible to blog this letter somewhere if the copyright permits? But anyway - very succinct letter which brings the issue to the point: Science should use open software.
