Hi,

You could try to start GRASS with the GUI. Then you'll see
that your mapset you want to start is greyed out. Anyway
if you select it and click start GRASS will ask you if you
want to remove the GISLOCK.
Unfortunately I don't know how to remove the GIS lock
from the Terminal (but there must be a way other GIS users
know)
