I've recently added a case study to the GRASS wiki concerning population genetics and species habitat modeling. http://grasswiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Population_Genetics_and_GIS With help from a colleague, we've put together and tried a procedure in GRASS to make predicted migration corridors for a certain insect pest. Comments welcome!
