Hello, as a (not so active) GRASS developer, I also use 7 for almost all my daily needs. I agree about all nice things of using 7 previously stated, still I also must give a fat warning - some code in 7 is not yet tested enough. There are new bugs present in 7 only too.
Here is (infamous) example of it - output result is shifted by n cells.[1] Issue was present only in 7 in not so well tested new code. Bugs do happen and GRASS 7 contains new bugs yet unknown. Anyone is welcome to use GRASS 7, but remember to check outputs and be ready to report back issues.
