Hello, I have a vector I have created with inkscape, by using a scanned jpeg map as background. I saved the vector in dxf (using better_dxf to keep the layers). It seems that dxf do not allow to specify a scale.
I import the scanned jpeg map in grass, in an XY location, and I use georectification to reproject it in a lon-lat location using points from the scanned raster. When I import the dxf vector file with v.in.dxf in the XY location, I get a tiny vector that has a seemingly arbitrary scale. Now, I would like to import the dxf vector in the lon-lat location and use a visual tool to determine/apply a transformation to the vector to match with the raster that is now correct in the lon-lat location, and where I can easily see the features I reported in the vector in inkscape. Did I miss something in the process that could have allowed me to keep the scale information for the vector? If not, can I do the visual matching with grass? If not, do you have an idea about what I could do? Thanks in advance. -- Pat _______________________________________________ grass-user mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/grass-user
