It is UTM zone 13 N, using the NAD27 datum. The ellipsoid is clark66 and the datum transform grid is "conus". The matching epsg code is #26713, although that code does not specify which datum transform terms/grid should be used. As far as I know the Spearfish dataset predates the EPSG list, or at least they are about the same age.
