I am now running a version which I downloaded yesterday, 19 Aug 2013,
(g.version -g results shown below). I have checked, the GUI (Settings -> Addon
extensions -> Install extensions from addons) still reports "unable to load
extensions". The command line reports successful installation, atleast for the
one Addon i have tested.
g.version -g
version=7.0.svn
date=2013
revision=57466
build_date=2013-08-18

Please tell us when you downloaded winGRASS7 - there were significant wxGUI
changes recently. To get the version number:
g.version -g
