Thanks for the tests. So it seems that this is sometimes working, sometimes not,
right? What could be the reason?
I've just tried again with a freshly checked out and compiled grass64
release branch. I cannot reproduce the error. I'm not sure what might
have caused it in my previous run, but at least in the current release
branch (and thus 6.4.3 probably) it seems to be working.
