ECA&D contain some serious errors: 1. look at the spatial distribution and location of the stations used http://eca.knmi.nl/download/ensembles/data/ensembles_tg_stations_v12.0.txt http://eca.knmi.nl/download/ensembles/data/ensembles_tn_stations_v12.0.txt http://eca.knmi.nl/download/ensembles/data/ensembles_tx_stations_v12.0.txt http://eca.knmi.nl/download/ensembles/data/ensembles_rr_stations_v12.0.txt 2. calculate annual averages and check if they match your expectations. They did not match my expectations (and those of my group) so we decided to ditch ECA&D. > >>what are you interested in doing, if I may ask? > > I have vegetation samples across Europe, from the North to the South, from > the West to Caucasus. as this vegetation types are sensitive to temperature > and precipitation, such parameters may be included in ecology pattern > analysis. If possible, use a datasource different from ECA&D.
