Dear all, I would like to announce a new module in GRASS Addons called r.colors.matplotlib [1]. It works mostly the same as r.colors, but it uses Matplotlib color tables [2] from your installed version of Matplotlib. In addition to some r.colors features like setting histogram equalized color table for a raster map, r.colors.matplotlib can export the color table rules to a text file in GRASS format for further use or create a discretized color table with intervals of same color. The module is very advantageous if you want to unify your Matplotlib and GRASS GIS outputs. Thanks to Isaac Ullah for the idea.
