Hi Rich, I am not sure about using links from outside sources in this user-list, however, below is a link to "stack exchange" on the subject.
By new GUI, if I remember correctly that changed after May 2017? If so, I have not tried that. If you want to use the rgrass7 you use the initGRASS command in R. This will link R to grass. You will also need to provide the directory path to your GRASS. If you are using a Mac and you do not have administrative privileges you may need to use the "sudo" command. https://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/206348/how-to-access-the-terminal-in-grass-7-0-4 Best, -bob Sent from my iPhone On Sep 28, 2017, at 12:52 PM, Rich Shepard <rshep...@appl-ecosys.com<mailto:rshep...@appl-ecosys.com>> wrote: On Thu, 28 Sep 2017, Robert Andrew Brown wrote: There are packages in R to do this. Robert, Yes, rgrass7 is one such package. GRASS has a command line "terminal" for this. Have used this regularly since before there was the new GUI. The problem I have found is that you can only use a 32 bit version of R in the GRASS interface. How interesting. Thanks for the insights, Rich _______________________________________________ grass-user mailing list grass-user@lists.osgeo.org<mailto:grass-user@lists.osgeo.org> https://secure-web.cisco.com/1JioY5Ts69jH8T_oF4sCNY796b0hFWNYWCyCPUJnbORz_i95Md91msXxxsq_1-4A87pb2wBoQi4D-9e3G4M2ghmrdF3ESVUkSeEcXgZTZhxYhjrccXBUBng-FIF1WKLe9sU5KTh2I00RS3lVgk6gwoA3le7SMO_RF2iDjNfoNuHmwZb0yktgVdlqkjuZ5Ur2lXZzHNbCycQAqsltLmn5Wpc9uJiiAM6aii3qIkByEIfZ-JH-5iim7dI9fqyhHooAecIw38DYorx7LxpxtjLOhLtNQxDYeGDNFrtKHwLZmZDRl1gbl0WW83-_a8xX5zFLxgvazEewZ2gg4w8k-1b9GRADAf0dwsuwzQ-r-_xW2lPw/https%3A%2F%2Flists.osgeo.org%2Fmailman%2Flistinfo%2Fgrass-user
