that worked! thank you. i can see the data using 3D view, in data tab, select 3d raster at bottom (scroll down), select 3d raster, draw: slices, shading flat, resolution 1, select wire box. then i can add slices. I havent mastered the system yet but i think i am on the right track now. thank you very much!
