V.VOL.RST run (below) with increasing DMIN, from 0.5 to 200. finally
worked with 200 m of min spacing. as you can see the majority of the
points are excluded.
I'm not familiar enough with the code of v.vol.rst, so I'll have to
leave this to Helena and her team.
