it seems it is a problem of the module GUI. I was able to run the
process in the terminal.
I use GRASS GIS 7.2.9 uon Ubuntu 20.04..5 LTS.

Dear all,
I have created a group and subgroup for an image and created a signature
file with i.gensig. I can use the group, subgroup and signature file in
i.maxlik to get a result. But in i.smap the signature file cannot be
found. What might be the problem?
