Perhaps a silly question but here goes...

The Grasshopper installer will check for previous versions of GH (only
those installed with the installer) so if I have 0.5.0090 installed
there is no need to do anything manually when updating to 0092...

...or is it safer to completely remove GH from the plug-ins directory
prior to installing any updates?

I could probably answer this question myself, but I'm not at my
computer at the moment.
