Hi playing off of Ted Ngai's diagrid, I am trying to get the opposite of his file - in his file he is left with beautiful filleted diamond shapes offset from an underlying daigrid. There are gaps between 'panels' and I would ideally like to use this surfaces to trim or split the underlying surface, so that I am left with the gaps, and not the panels - is this possible?
In the interim I have been hacking away at a solution where I build up the equivalent from smaller surfaces. This is extremely tedious and I am nowhere even close to those nice fillets or anything fancy like that - just figuring out how to fins the points I'm looking for is keeping me plenty busy. I guess I'm wondering if anyone has a more clever way to go about this? I bet there is, I just am not so experienced... thanks! check the file at : diagrid-paths-01.ghx
