Wow, it's pretty impressive that someone experimenting with beta
plugins for CAD software package has never come across a .rar file
(has nothing to do with being dumb, though). It's used for data
compression, it contains compressed files similar to a .zip file. You
need some software to extract the compressed files. The most popular
is Winrar (http://www.rarlab.com/) but there are free alternatives
like 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/).
