Hi Bas, it would be possible if you wrote your own components. I've experimented with custom references in Scripting components, but there were some issues with it and I disabled the feature until I solve those. There's also the problem of events. You need a way to tell Grasshopper that the current solution has expired. This is a piece of cake if you're inside a Component, but it's not possible yet from the code inside a Scripting component.
