Or extrapolate that one further and you have something similar to the Color selection Cube in Grasshopper allowing the Z value to be brought in.

Not sure if 'matrix' is the right word, but I am imagining a tool that
is a square tablet with (X,Y)/(-X,-Y) cross hair that allows you to
control multiple outputs at one time. For instance, if you wanted to
rotate an object in 2 directions at once, you could set the 'X' of the
matrix space to be 0-10 and control one rotation, while the 'Y' of the
matrix board could be set to -10 to 5 and control another rotation.
You simply drag a dot around on it.

If it was implemented, it could have a dedicated X slider at the
bottom of the matric and a dedicated Y on the side, so you could do
independent moves if needed.

Does this exist? I could really use it on my current Grasshopper
project.
