No there isn't. To use vb.net you've got to use the SDK, which is a whole other can of worms as opposed to Rhinoscript. At this point, the best thing to do is check out the SDK Essentials page, download the dotNET SDK help file (its not perfect, but it does have a lot of info), and ask a bunch of questions. You could ask here, but there isn't a whole lot of dotNET experience floating around these forums, so I'd ask on the Rhino Plugins newsgroup as you've got a much better chance to get a good answer quickly over there. Also, there are a bunch of GH scripting samples that Rajaa put together which should be helpful getting started.
