Hi all: I have been experimenting with the Grasshopper plug-in recently trying to import numeric data from Ecotect as parameters into Grasshopper to generate facade designs. I have managed to use such information to generate, on a conceptual level, window wall ratios and shading device depth. Has anyone else been successfully managed to use data from other analyses programs and bring them into grasshopper to generate formal options?
I noticed that Grasshopper is able to stream data generated in Rhino directly into Excel files, but no one has been able to go the other way in real time. Anyone have any luck yet? Any information would be much appreciated, many thanks in advance. George Tolosa
