Hi All
While working on a fast track (I mean fast, 200k sm in < 3 yrs, and in this economy...) and trying to streamline our work I've developed several definitions. The most productive of them I've posted on the files page. They're called: "Gross Floor Areas and Slabs.ghx" and "Srf box - variable ht.ghx". They're both exactly what the titles say. "Gross floor areas" is set up to work with a polysurface, articulated form, 3 different floor-to- floor heights and will create 300mm deep/ 300mm offset floorslabs. We were using this to keep up with area calculations during concept and schematic design, streaming the areas to excel and using them in the final spreadsheets. It was incredibly helpful. The second is more fun and is continuing to evolve. We were using this to develop modular/panelized facade designs. It's basically a combination of an attractor and srf boxes to control the height of srf box bounding boxes. I at one point combined this with the running bond definition to create secondary patterning. Thanks to everybody who is out there developing and posting tutorials. Your comments and free use is welcome. Hopefully, I'll have more to contribute in the near future. Rob
