As another note, I've found that this error pops up a lot when you're trying to access a data structure that has been initiated, but doesn't actually have any data stored yet. Most of the time for me this winds up being related to not using constructors with certain data types (ie using the New keyword when declaring the variable). I have seen it other places though, and even though I've done a number of searches I haven't been able to find a very good explanation or resource beyond that. HTH.
