thanks for considering.

i suggest it should be a per-slider setting (checkbox in the slider
menu). some slider will only cause little computation load other a
lot. IMO the user should be able the choose which slider to check,
leaving more freedom in configureing than global options.

BTW, could you have a look at the extrude/cap thread. i posted a
screenshot there for an unresolved issue.
