i read another post on this but still could not figure it out. i just starting learning grasshopper and know nearly nothing about scripting. i have a curve that is divided into equal segments - how do i draw perpendicular lines to the curve (tangent) starting at each point? i can create lines that are either the tangents themselves or perpendicular and sticking straight up in z axis. I can't create a perpendicular to the curve in the plane of the curve. also, how do you determine which direction the line goes in - for example perpendicular to the right or the left?
