Hi I'm trying to make a randomly shaped crystal, and I've run in to difficulties. I'm hoping someone could help me solve the problem.
This is what I'm trying to do: 1. Make a centered point (the center of the "crystal") 2. Generate a point cloud around the first point. 3. Draw lines between the first point and every point in the surrounding point cloud. 4. Create surfaces perpendicular to these lines. 5. Trim these surfaces to each other to form a closed crystal-like form. I've uploaded a file, Crystal.ghx, and I'm wondering if anyone have any idea on how I could move on? I'm aware of the fact that this definition is not very good, I'm a beginner and I didn't know how to do it the proper way. Perhaps someone have better ideas on how to do this? Thanks!
