That's the number I need. Now we can run some very rough estimates. If we say 5W/XO, 10h/day, 13,700 XOs, that comes to 700 kWh daily at 60 locations, or a bit over 10 kWh each. Now I can check what that comes to in solar panels or whatever, and we can think about storage overnight for early morning charging. > ~230 students is expected (though I have no idea whether > this will be equally distributed over the schools...) > >>>> What do they need powered besides laptops? I use Firefox 3.0 and I don't understand what's wrong. Yes, that's not the best link for them anyway. Try these. Engineers Without Borders San Francisco Professionals Chapter http://www.ewb-sfp.org/projects/projects.html HAITI: EWB-SFP is working to install a solar photovoltaic system to provide a stable electricity supply to a local school and homes in Bayonnais, Haiti. The project team is also addressing water quality issues and bridge construction. http://www.ewb-sfp.org/projects/haiti/haiti.html http://www.ewb-sfp.org/about/contact.html >>> If so, can you send me the contact information in private? >> >> I'm talking with them about a different sort of project from what they >> are used to.
