I don't believe that Mindstorms has been worked on, but Scratch on the XO has been shipped on a few hundred thousand machines.
The Scratch Team ( John and Andres especially) are great and have spent a lot of time making sure that Scratch works great on the XO. With their latest release (1.3) Scratch is now much much easier to translate (and we're helping organizing translation AFAIK).
