I am a franch teacher and student in Iternational Relatioship. I m actually
working in Peru, Caral on an eco turistical project with a native family.
When i see the interest the children have in knew technologies , their eager
to learn and the few pedagogical material they ´d have acces to, i feel quite
useless despite all my actions.
We are now working to create a biblioteque for these children and the others
pupils of the village so that their thirst of knowledge could be provided.
13 volunteers of a franch asociation will come in one week and then will begin
the construction for 2 months.
I´d like to know how to participate in your program, A lap top per child in
order to crerate a good and deep colaboration and what are the conditions,
steps and so on.
I ve been speaking with actors of OLPC in Peru but we don t know how to do when
we need just one xo olpc.
I understand that not anybody can ask and have an olpc.
But i search and the close t school to particiáte on this project would be in
Supe, 23 kms from Caral.
Acording to the map none of the nearest school participate on this project.
And so, Caral, Alpacoto, Los molinos and Liman 's students don t have any acces
to a lap top..
As the bibliotheque we re creating is about to be an important place of
knowledge in the region, i cannot but think of it´s strategic position and the
importance of providing children with at least one of them.
I hope you could help us to help them, by making it posible or indicating us
someone who could.Nevertheless, i thank you for your time, your work and your
pasion.
