Hi, I have further updated the v.in.garmin script in 6.3cvs now.
WRT import with gardump from the garmin-utils package (www.snafu.org), * you can now import tracks and track points into a 3D vector map * updated to work with newer GPS hardware (tested with a Garmin GPS V) gardump does not support USB-only GPSs, try v.in.gpsbabel for those. gpstrans does not support newer serial GPSs, use gardump for those. * add'l symbol/route data also downloaded & put into the table please help test if you have a Garmin GPS, as there's a lot of thick awk gook in the script. Everything seems to be working, just the chance of a typo or untested combination of options to worry about.
