What version of GRASS is this?? p.out.vrml has been r.out.vrml since November
2006.

Version 6.2.2-1
It has both r.out.vrml and r.out.vrml.html. It also has a p.out.vrml
file in the /grass-6.2.2/bin/ folder, which I think contains a symbolic
link to r.out.vrml:
!<symlink>r.out.vrml
