Hi Torch Team, First off, I cannot complement you guys enough over the work you have done for this product. This is a clear competitor with the likes of other SIEM products out there and it will only get better with time. It is an honor to be part of the initial user/customer base as I am looking forward to seeing this product continue to grow.
I have one issue to report and one question to ask. 1. Email address not retained when using LDAP user. Here are the steps I did to reproduce this issue: 1. Configured LDAP per guide (tested and confirmed working) 2. Logged in with LDAP user 3. Logged out with LDAP user 4. Logged in with Admin user 5. Assigned proper permissions to LDAP user 6. Logged out with Admin 7. Logged in with LDAP user 8. Confirmed proper access 9. Edited LDAP user and added in email address 10. Saved and confirmed email address. 11. Tested email through streams, received email. 12. Logged out of Graylog web interface 13. Logged back in as user 14. Observed email address previously configured is now removed. Is it by design that the email address should be populated via Active Directory or should I be able to assign it statically after the LDAP user has been created? 2. Can extractors created be exported for backup purposes? One of the other users mentioned that he would like to share extractors and provided the "drools" export that was usable in 0.12 but does not seem to apply in 0.20. Is there some similar functionality that we can use in Graylog 0.20? As always guys, I appreciate your responsiveness and if you need me to open up my system so I can demonstrate to you, I will be more than happy to coordinate a time to do so.
