It turns out, it really was working all along. But IE-10 doesn't like TLS 1.0/1.1 or SSL 2.0 by default. Neither did my older version of Firefox (v18). I upgraded to Firefox v24 and it started working.
Is there a way to force graylog-web-interface to use TLS 1.2 or SSL 3.0?
