Hello Chris,
in our current development branch we have implemented modular alarm callbacks.
This means it is possible to define a chain of actions which are being taken
when an alert is generated. One of those predefined pluggable modules is an
HTTP callback which calls a certain URL and therefore allows you to trigger
actions on remote servers.
The development branch is supposed to turn into a release candidate soon after
the next patch release of the current production tree and undergo a full
release a few weeks after that. If you are very adventurous and you want to try
out the new feature, you could build it from the master branch of our
repositories. This is not an option for production installations though. :)
