That looks wrong. I think we had one user reporting a similar problem (issue 
#716 <https://github.com/Graylog2/graylog2-server/issues/716>) but we 
couldn't reproduce it. :-(

Could you please check if the user you're running Graylog2 with is able to 
write into the spool directory specified by message_cache_spool_dir in your 
graylog2.conf?
